Mike Owen Benediktsson is an urban sociologist and Associate Professor at Hunter College. When he grows up, he plans to still be an urban sociologist working at Hunter College. His research interests include things and public spaces and interesting places in New York City. In his spare time, he plays soccer with other middle-aged men, ties flies at his kitchen table, and dreams about what he would do if he had more spare time.
