Hi, I’m Ayaan!

I was born in Brooklyn and raised there my entire life. Therefore, I speak from experience when I say the commute to Hunter back and forth can be hell. I love talking comics, genetics, and pretty much anything as long as I know a little bit about it. Especially about Spider-Man, he’s the GOAT. I’m South Asian, specifically Pakistani, which influences a lot of the foods I love and cultures I enjoy. South Asia is very diverse with many different countries that have different cultures and ideas, so it’s intriguing to learn about.

One thing I love about NYC is its views and the memories I hold there. The picture I attached is of the skyline where you can see the sunset by Chelsea Piers. It’s not only a gorgeous view when you’re there, but I’ve some of my greatest memories there. What interests me in NYC is its diversity, and on the opposite spectrum where it lacks diversity. I want to know the neighborhoods that have the least diversity and what leads to that.
