My name is Michael Frid and I’ve lived in New York my whole life. I am excited to learn about the city from a new perspective, and to connect things I am interested or passionate about such as urban planning and the MTA with a historical and sociological perspective. I am eager to visit different neighborhoods, both places I have been to countless times as well as places I might not be so familiar with. I am hoping that this class will be a place for me to learn and discover new things about the city that I have called home for the past 18 years.
