Hey guys! I’m Rachel Sharon. I was born and raised on Long Island (close to JFK). Hunter is the first time that I’ve spent so much time in the city, so one of my college goals is to learn about and experience more of the city. Any recommendations of cool or interesting places to go are always appreciated. I enjoyed exploring the city last semester through the lens of the arts, and this semester I’m looking forward to exploring it through learning about its people. I’ve always loved learning history, so I am especially interested in learning more about the city’s history and how it has been shaped by the many different cultures and people living here.

One of the things I love about New York City is the architecture and skyline views, so I attached a picture of the view of downtown Manhattan from the balcony of the Whitney Museum.
