I’m Gillan, I’ve lived in Coney Island my whole life. I’ve always really loved history, traveling, reading, and exploring the city, a practice I’ve only picked up in the past few years. My family is from Ukraine and I can understand Russian while speaking like a 5 year old. I’ve also learnt how to read it in the past year. Something that I’m curious about in New York City is the dynamics of the neighborhoods that exist in Manhattan north of Harlem, like Morningside Heights and Inwood.
